WHO is BLACK and WHO is not BLACK | Foundational Black Americans
Who's Black and Who's Not Black? 🤔🔍 Let's Set the Record Straight! 🙌🏾✊🏾 As Foundational Black Americans, we are proud of our lineage and the struggles we've overcome. We recognize our African ancestry, but we have our own unique mindset and consciousness. We are BLACK, not African or any other nationality. We've built a thriving community in America, with 2.5 millionaires and 63% of black men in the middle class or richer. Our culture is rich and influential, from hip hop to rock and roll. We've faced discrimination and still rose to greatness. But let's address the cosplay and cultural appropriation. We're not hating, but we won't tolerate others undermining our community. We're not minorities, we're FOUNDATIONAL BLACK AMERICANS. We're gatekeeping our culture and building our own future. We're separating from parties and groups that haven't truly supported us. We're calling out the anti-black hatred within the melanated community. Let's have a peaceful conversation and respect each other's identities. We're not trying to be anyone else, and we expect the same. We're proud of who we are and what we've achieved. We're BLACK and we're PROUD! 🖤✊🏾
