Pan African VS Pan Blackness | Who is Black and Who is Not?

It's time to have a conversation. There's been confusion about what it means to be Black. Let's clear the air:

Foundation of Black Americans (FBA) are Black—descendants of enslaved Africans in the U.S. who built this country. FBA is a unique lineage tied to a specific struggle, culture, and history on American soil.

But let's be real: not everyone of African descent is considered Black in this context. Caribbeans and Africans, while sharing African roots, do not share the same history and experience as FBA. The struggle, culture, and identity are not the same.

Blackness isn't just about skin color or ancestry—it's about history, culture, and the unique challenges that FBA have faced and continue to face. We can be united as people of African descent, but when it comes to who is Black in the FBA context, we must be clear.

This isn't about division but understanding our identities and what Blackness represents in America.
