Optics, Racism and White Supremacy: A Call to Action in the Workplace

SUMMARY

This conversation focuses on the idea of staying in a job despite perceiving the boss to be harmful or racist. The speaker believes that the employees will stay in their job until they are upset by something that the boss does that is really racist. They are dismayed that the person they are talking to stayed in the job despite their perception that it was harmful and expresses that their opinion of them has been diminished because of it. They suggest that even though the boss may be saying things in private that are harmful or racist, it is too late for anyone to do anything about it now as they stayed in the job despite perceiving it to be harmful. The speaker suggests that the employees will eventually talk badly about the boss when they leave. This conversation highlights the importance of taking action when one perceives something to be wrong or harmful.

In this conversation, the speaker discusses the concept of racism, white supremacy, and prejudice in America. The speaker believes that American education has been indoctrinating its citizens with white supremacist tendencies, and that even those who identify as Black may have a white supremacist mindset. The speaker goes on to suggest that while one should respect the differences of their opponents and enemies, they should not entertain their rhetoric or give them a platform to speak. The speaker believes that if people are brought up in the American school system, then they are most likely a white nationalist sympathizer as it is taught in the curriculum. Finally, the speaker emphasizes that it is important to recognize the white supremacist mindset in America and not to entertain it.

This conversation focuses on a disagreement between two people regarding the views of a woman named Pearly Things. The speaker is critical of Pearly's views on race relations and reparations, particularly her stance against them, and believes that the US government owes reparations to people they harmed during the time of slavery. They also criticize Pearly's apology for her views, believing she should have just kept running with her views instead of apologizing. The speaker then gives a shoutout to the Obsidian Network and encourages the audience to check out the podcast.

The speaker expresses his respect for the brother he is talking to, but then questions the podcast he did in which he was “caping” for a white woman. The speaker expresses his disapproval for the way the brother was protecting her like she was paying him money and that he was giving her “Allah walk bars like she was winning.” He expresses his desire to talk to the brother about it more, but suggests he might have to contact him through his channel or email. The speaker ends by congratulating the brother for his work.

HIGHLIGHTS

I agree with a lot of her talking points when it comes to modern men and modern women, but when it comes to things on race relations, obviously I don't agree with her, and I don't think she should be speaking about it. I don't care about her apology. I don't think she should have apologized. I think she should have just kept running with it because that's who she is. The fact that she did apologize, means nothing, it was not sincere.

They owe and we're all paying into the US government taxes. So, if you can give billions of dollars to Ukraine, you can give billions of dollars to repair black people that you harmed. And that's my stance on that, on reparations. So, I will say publicly right now, I don't support Pearly.

Now, me, I can respect the white supremacist, right? Because the white supremacist, they're just like a broke clock, right? They're not wrong all the time. They're going to be right at least two times out the day. And I could respect that and listen to that, right? But I'm not going to sit here and entertain a white supremacist like a pearly thoughts, just pearly things did. I'm not going to entertain the rhetoric. I'm not going to give them a platform to speak.

You were taught to believe that America is always right and all these other countries are backwards. And we know the movement going on here in America is immigrants are better than Americans. Right? Now we see the movement. I don't think it's xenophobia to say, hey, man, we got too many. We need to take care of our people and stop taking care of a bunch of immigrants. And we know that's the plan. We know that's the plan to bring in a whole bunch of more immigrants who look like me but have white supremacist mindset, white supremacist talking points.
